We use our irons to make our clothes look good, but periodically we need to clean this small appliance so that it works its best, and also does not make your clothes dirty while you iron them.

This is especially important if you use a sizing or starch product along with your iron.

Further, if you use a steam iron you may also need to clean out hard water or rust.

There are lots of commercial products on the market you can use to clean your iron, so I would love to hear from you to tell me which one you like best, and why.
