Target Up & Up Antibacterial Cleaning Wipes Review - Work Great And Less Expensive

by Connie

Connie has shared her review of Up & Up antibacterial cleaning wipes, which are found at Target.

Connie says:

As a teacher I tend to get sick a lot, and so do the kiddos I teach. This year I tried to prevent it as much as possible by daily cleaning of my classroom.

I investigated antibacterial sprays and wipes, and decided to use the wipes since my kids can use them to clean their own desks. Clorox and Lysol brands are great, but they are way too expensive for a teacher on a budget.

Luckily, I found the Up & Up brand wipes from Target. They are great! I like the lemon scented-ones - they make the room smell so fresh.

The wipes are just as big as the Clorox and Lysol wipes, and they are also just as strong. The only difference is the price - the Up & Up wipes are much less expensive! I generally buy the largest size, and Target often has Up & Up coupons and specials that make the wipes every more affordable.

I still got sick this year, and so did my students, but I truly think that it happened less than in previous years. Up & Up is a great brand, and their antibacterial wipes are my favorite.

Taylor says:

Thanks so much Connie for your review of Up & Up antibacterial cleaning wipes. I know what you mean about cleaning wipes being very expensive, so it is good to know about some generic brands like this which work well for less.

Does anyone else use a generic or cheaper brand of cleaning or disinfecting wipes, that works well?

On the other hand, did you try to save money and buy a cheaper brand and were disappointed? Either way, you can share your wipes review here, for this or another brand, or read the other reviews which have already been submitted.

Up & Up Disinfecting Wipes Review: Lemon Scent From Target

by Taylor

I've been on a quest to try lots of the different store brands of disinfecting wipes to see how they compare to the big national brands.

I of course needed to try the ones from Target, especially after the glowing review above from Connie.

I would definitely agree with her assessment of these wipes -- they work just as well as the big brands, but cost much less.

Target Up & Up disinfecting wipes, fresh scent
They are just as moist, and as strong, and seem to do just as good of a job as the others I've tried.

I'm quickly figuring out that this is definitely one product where buying name brands is not necessarily important. Instead, save money by buying generics, at least the store brands I've tried so far (which include Walmart brand and Meijer brand).

I can't find anything special or inherently better about the more expensive ones, when the generics seem exactly the same.

I personally tried the lemon scented variety, since I tend to like that scent better. However, Target also has a "fresh scent" available (pictured on the right) which you can try as well.

Has anyone else tried this, or another brand of cleaning wipes and want to share their review with me? I'd love it! You can share your review here and I'll add it to the site, or you can read lots of other reviews (of many different brands) that have already been submitted.
