I took a trip to Meijer recently, and grabbed a plastic canister of some of their lemon scented disinfecting wipes.
As usual, since it was a store brand instead of national name brand, they cost significantly less even without coupons.
On the package they say that they clean, disinfect and deodorize, and they are quite similar to all other types of store and national brands of this type of product.
I was overall happy with them, they were moist and sturdy enough to scrub with.
So far, I've used them to clean the outside of the toilet, wipe down messes on the kitchen floor that spilled so we wouldn't be left with a sticky mess, and to wipe down the kitchen counters.
It should be noted that just like with many other cleaning wipes, for any hard surfaces that will later come into contact with food, you should (after the product has had time to disinfect the surface -- about five minutes) be rinsed with water.
Basically, my opinion on these wipes is simple -- unless you can get national brands like Clorox or Lysol wipes cheaper because of sales and coupons, combined, just buy a store brand.
Has anyone else tried any of the store brands of these wipes? If so, I'd love to hear what you think of them and if you think they're just as good as national brands or not, and why. You can share your review here or read other reviews, of lots of different brands, that have already been submitted.
I hope you enjoy this gift, and stop by again soon!
