Clorox Wipes Review And Uses - Love The Lavender Scent

by Irene
(Kansas)

Irene has shared her Clorox wipes review. (I've gotten so many reviews of this popular cleaning product I had to create this second page of reviews and uses for it.)

Irene says:

I absolutely love these wipes, especially in the lavender scent, which is my absolute favorite.

They are so easy to use, and makes my job of cleaning my house so so quick and easy. All you have to do is pull a wipe out of the container and get started.

I use them on my kitchen counters, bathroom counters, kitchen table, stove, and the outside of my toilet bowl.

I like that they disinfect because there are a lot of germs in the bathroom and kitchen, so I like to disinfect the area every time I clean.

You do have to use a few wipes for each room you clean because they do no stay wet for too long, depending on how dirty your countertop is, but they work really well.

The only negative I have to say about this product is that it is a little difficult to push the wipe through the little slot the first time you open the product, but after that, the wipes come up easily.

Oh, and one more thing regarding these wipes. As you get closer to the bottom of the container the wipes get more and more wet because the cleaning solution gathers at the bottom, so the wipes on the bottom of the container actually last a little bit longer than the the first ones that you use when you first open up the package.

Taylor says:

Thanks for your Clorox wipes review Irene.

I have to say, I have gotten quite a reviews for this product, I guess because it is one of the most popular disinfecting wipes currently on the market. You can see even more Clorox disinfecting wipes reviews here.

I am always looking for more reviews, though. Has anyone else used these wipes and want to share a review? I Keep Containers Of Clorox Disinfecting Wipes In Both The Kitchen And All Bathrooms

by Terri
(Virginia)

Terri has shared her review of Clorox disinfecting wipes, in both the lemon and fresh scents.

Terri says:

I have used these wipes for as long as they've been available. I use both the lemon and fresh scent wipes, because they are equally pleasant scents.

I keep a couple of containers in the kitchen and in all my bathrooms.

These wipes are great at cleaning countertops in the bathroom and kitchen, with only a few vigorous wipes. They leave the surface damp and I let it air dry.

I also use them for sinks, toilets, faucets, and doorknobs to kill germs, as well as on phones and remotes. Anything that has been handled a lot gets wiped off with a Clorox wipe because they really seem to do the job. I've also used them on stainless steel, painted surfaces, like walls, and tile floors with success.

They leave a light scent behind and I like how disposable they are. After one or two cloths, I am usually finished cleaning the area and I just throw it away.

The only thing I don't like about the container they come in is the dispenser. There is a hole in the top that the cloths are supposed to feed through, but it makes pulling the next cloth out difficult. The cloths get jammed and tear, so I don't use the dispenser at all. I just pull them out one at a time, but pulling them apart myself.

If Clorox could develop a better container, I would like them even more.

Taylor says:

Thanks Terri for sharing your Clorox wipes review.

You aren't the first to complain about the container that these wipes come in.

Speaking as a Mom who has changed a lot of diapers, I like the way diaper wipes are dispensed in the wipes boxes. I think that would be a great way to dispense the wipes, instead of in the circular tube containers like they do it now. Of course, maybe they would more easily dry out that way or something, I'm not sure.

Anyway, it sounds like you use these wipes as an all purpose cleaner in your home Terri. I would love to hear even more reviews of general purpose cleaners from other reviewers. If you like a particular product for cleaning many areas of your home I would love it if you share your general purpose cleaner review here, for this or any other product. Clorox Lemon Fresh Disinfecting Wipes Are Very Handy Around The House

by Carolyn

Carolyn has shared her review of Clorox lemon fresh disinfecting wipes.

Carolyn says:

I have used the Clorox Disinfecting Wipes for a couple of years, and have found them to come in very handy around the house.

I use them once a day on my counter tops to keep the dust that accumulates at a minimum, and also just to know that I’m disinfecting at the same time.

They work quite well at quickly cleaning the toilet seat, and even the bottom part of the toilet.

The main area that I use these wipes to clean is on my TV stand. It is black and made of glass, and you can dust it and an hour later it looks like you haven’t touched it. I guess because I have a dog with long fur the stand doesn’t take long to look like you haven’t dusted in a month.

I actually keep a container of these wipes under the TV on one of the shelves, so they are quick to grab one out, and clean off the TV, especially if unexpected company shows up.

I thought the price was a little high, as I went to buy some more the other day, and decided to pass them up since they seemed quite expensive. However, I quickly missed them and went out and bought some again, although I'm considering trying some of the generic brands to see if they work as well, since they are cheaper.

All in all, I like these products for quick touch-up cleaning around the house.

Taylor says:

Thanks for your review of this product Carolyn.

I suppose so, but I wouldn't suggest it because there are more efficient and better ways to do it. You can check out the instructions for cleaning a washing machine here.
