Target Up & Up Dishwashing Soap Review: Green Apple Scent
I have now about finished a bottle of Up & Up dishwashing soap, in the green apple scent, from Target.
As you can see from the picture I forgot to take a picture of this product until I was just about done with it, but that has a lot to do with the fact that we've been going through dish soap like crazy around here since my dishwasher has been broken for over a month!
That means I got quite a chance to see if this store brand actually worked well, or not, and I'm here to say this stuff was great.
I've always loved green apple scented products, so I always try them. Unfortunately, when I tried this same scent of the Walmart store brand, Great Value, I absolutely hated it. (Click here to read my review of Great Value dish soap.) Basically, the reason was that it didn't work well and was extremely thin.
Therefore, when I tried this I was prepared for the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised. Instead of it being thin, it was nice and thick like an Ultra dishwashing soap should be, and it cleaned very well.
I would compare the Target brand it to the Dawn Apple Blossom scent, which I used to use long ago before I began this site and started trying every product under the sun so I could write reviews.
I will note that this product is also an antibacterial hand soap, for those who are interested in that. I personally could do without this addition of ingredients though, since I don't think it is necessary, and in fact more harmful to the environment to have it there.
Overall though, despite the fact that it is antibacterial, I would thoroughly recommend the Up & Up brand of dish soap to those of you looking for a cheaper version of Dawn, which can be quite expensive in comparison. I was happy with it and would definitely buy it again.
I hope you enjoy this gift, and stop by again soon!
