Heather has provided this Seventh Generation Natural laundry detergent review, of the Blue Eucalyptus & Lavender scent.
Heather says:
I initially picked out this product because my boyfriend and I are vegan, and we know Seventh Generation doesn't test its products on animals.
We really think that's great, and it is a big factor in our decision making on products.
I also like how natural the product is. I really don't like the idea of chemicals being in our home or on our clothes!
We try to be as natural as possible when it comes to everything we buy, but sometimes it's hard to find a product that will work well AND is natural, safe to us, the environment, and kind to all living creatures!
Therefore, I was really happy with this purchase because the product works really well and smells so great!
It removed the stains from our spaghetti and tomato sauce the night before, but didn't fade my favorite black jeans.
Plus, I'm a sucker for anything that smells like lavender, especially real lavender, not like fake imitation lavender smell!
Thanks Heather for your Seventh Generation Natural Laundry Detergent review.
There are actually other products with the exact scent for your laundry. For example, here is another review from the site of Seventh Generation dryer sheets in this exact same scent. I know lots of people like to coordinate their scents between laundry products, so you may be interested in these or the liquid fabric softener which is also in the same scent.
So, does anyone else use this brand's products for their laundry? If so, you can share your review here, or read other reviews already submitted.
Seventh Generation Liquid Laundry Detergent Didn't Work For Us

Heidi has shared her Seventh Generation natural laundry detergent review.
Heidi says:
I do not know a single person who has not tried to go green at some point or actually went green.
This is one of the products I tried when I went through my green phase. It worked well at first for us, but over time, whites yellowed or grayed due to our hard water.
Sweat stains, kids stains, and hubby's work clothes stains would not wash out and a funky odor began to develop and would not go away.
Taylor says:
Thanks Heidi for sharing your experience with this detergent.
It can be hard to find a product that works well and is better for the environment.

Comments for Seventh Generation Liquid Laundry Detergent Didn't Work For Us
I bought some of this at Costco and now I have an itching rash on my body, mainly arms and back but spreading down legs. I will never be using the detergents again. It seems to be getting worse and I scratch till I bleed. It's horrible.
Severe Allergic Reaction! by: Jessica
I originally went the natural route with seventh generation because I wanted safer products in my septic tank.. after about a week of using the detergent I developed a rash and originally thought it was from poison ivy. I went to the doctor and I was prescribed a steroid to help with the inflammation and itch. I washed more and more clothing with the detergent and noticed that my rash was only where my clothing touched. It's summer so I wear shorts and a tank top. I read other reviews on other sites and a rash from the GMO corn some of the chemicals is very common. I have since gone to the store to get vinegar (to get the toxins out) and purchased my old Tide detergent that never gave me any issues.
Blue Eucalyptus & Lavender scent by: J. Shields
I have used this particular formula successfully for many years. It is perfect from delicates to messy tough stuff! I've tried other brands big and small for my own comparison but I haven't found anything better than this one.
Causes hives by: Erik
The blue eucalyptus and lavender cause hives in more than a few people. I've heard they use some ingredients derived from GMO corn. Be careful.
