How To Make Jewelry Cleaner: Homemade Version {Use Denture Cleaning Tablets}

by Kay

Kay shared this tip for how she makes jewelry cleaner, the homemade way with denture tablets.

Kay says:

I use denture cleaning tablets to clean my good jewelry.

It gives a great sparkle to precious stones.

I would caution, however, not to use on opals or pearls, of course.

Also, beware of costume jewelry (much of which does not fare well in water to begin with) as well.

Test on a hidden area first.

In addition, a similar way to clean jewelry is actually to use Alka-Seltzer tablets. They can also be used to clean most types of jewelry as well, although you're right, not opals or pearls.
