I not only like Mrs. Meyer's Surface Scrub -- I am addicted to it.

I bought it -- although it was not on my shopping list -- because it looked so, sort of "modest" on the shelf compared to all the gaudy, glitzy packaging of the other products standing next to it.

It was in a pale lavender container -- I picked it up and immediately noticed the great smell. It smells like lavender and citrus.

I took it home and thought I would try it on my kitchen counter top. I live in a building that was built in 1907 -- all the appliances and most of the wood work is old and hard to clean.

I followed the instructions, and poured out a little of the Surface Scrub on the counter top, waited a few minutes and then was ready to start scrubbing away at the ingrained stains. Surprise, surprise! I never got a chance to scrub -- with just a firm wiping it was clean -- and I mean REALLY clean.

It seemed to dig down deep and get into all the scratches and nicks in the counter. And the smell was absolutely divine.

No chemicals, no pollutants, no harsh smells.

It is absolutely environmentally friendly, even to the point that the container can be recycled.

Since then I've used it on my copper cooking pots, my bath tub, my refrigerator door, and my window sills. As I said, I'm addicted to it.
