Martha Stewart Bathroom Cleaner Review - Don't Like Scent But Cleans Well

Abby has shared her Martha Stewart bathroom cleaner review.

Abby says:

I bought this products because it was inexpensive and listed as "effective, responsible, and safe."

It is advertised as 99+% plant and mineral based, with the "Design For The Environment" US EPA logo on the front.

On the back, the cleaner is listed as cruelty-free and that the packaging is recyclable.

This is the spray bathroom cleaner, 24 fl oz. It is a clear liquid, but not odorless. Unfortunately, the odor is mildly bothersome. It smells a lot like solvent, which I am sure some people don't mind. However, I would have preferred it smelled more like the Martha Stewart kitchen cleaner, which has a light, clean, almost citrus scent.

I think, though, that this is the product's only major drawback. I say this because it is very effective as a cleaner.

It removed lime scale and mineral deposits fairly easily (I live in Florida), and cleaned the tap and shower with a modicum of elbow grease applied.

The instructions advise you to spray and let stand one minute, and then wipe. It was just that easy.

For more stubborn stains, I left it a bit longer, but it did the trick - even on rust stains.
