How To Get Red Fruit Punch Or Kool Aid Out Of Carpet

Jennifer shared her before and after pictures when one of her family members spilled red fruit punch Crystal Light on the carpet.

(I would think this tip would work just as well to get Kool Aid out of carpet as well though.)

Bissell Little Green Proheat Compact Multipurpose Cleaner {Referral Links}

Once the fruit punch spilled on the carpet she acted fast to clean it up. It only sat for about 5 minutes, so acting quickly is VERY important.

To clean it up she got out her Bissell Little Green Machine spot cleaner (pictured on the left) with water (but no carpet cleaning products).

Then, she took some Oxiclean Free (which is the hypoallergenic version of the product), and worked some of the powder into the carpet with a nail brush.

After 20 minutes of work the stain was completely removed.

Jennifer said, "I've been mocked for my love of Oxi Clean, but I swear it's amazing & a must have for any family with pets or kids!" Further, she stated, "This is actually the 2nd time this has happened so it's not a fluke - I'm the hugest fan. :)"

There are many people who love Oxiclean, so if you have a use for this product I'd love to hear it. You can read more Oxi Clean uses here, or share your own.

I'd also love to hear more ways to remove these Kool Aid and punch stains. You can share your punch stain removal tips here.
