Dial Complete Foaming Hand Wash Review: Christmas Edition
by Taylor
My family and I have been using Dial Complete Foaming Hand Wash for a couple of weeks now, after the company was kind enough to send us a couple of bottles for free.
We've always preferred liquid hand soap to a bar soap for washing hands after going to the bathroom, for example, but I had not tried the new foaming variety before.
Basically, if you're not familiar with foaming soaps, they are liquid while in the bottle and then as they are pumped out they are sent through a special dispenser that causes them to foam up as you pump a bit into your hand.
It allows more soap to go a long way while washing your hands, and the kids found it fun just because it is a foam, after all.
As you can see, from the picture above, the containers that were sent to me were these cute Christmas bottles, and they've added a nice festive touch to each bathroom.
They have a pleasant scent (although scent, in general, isn't always my favorite thing), and no one in my family, which is quite allergy prone, has complained about it. Not even my Mom, who is quite sensitive to smells, and who came to the house to visit and used the soap after using the restroom.
The one thing that some people may see as a positive bonus, but that I don't really like about it, is the fact that it is also antibacterial. I think the addition of these unnecessary chemicals isn't good
Why I don't want to use antibacterial soap much, I will definitely consider foaming soap again in the future, when I've used the last of my regular hand soap, just because it encouraged my kids to actually wash their hands after using the toilet, instead of having to remind them and send them back in to do it. Perhaps by the time the bottles run out I'll have gotten them in a better habit, and won't have to remind them of this it seems like multiple times per day!
I'd love to hear what other people think about this, or any other variety of hand soap. Plus, I'd love to know if you have cleaning or stain removal uses for it, much like I've already collected with regard to both dish soap and bar soap.
