Removing Salsa Stains With A Lemon - Video

The video below gives some suggestions for removing salsa stains from fabric with a lemon, and some salt.

It seems to me this method will work best if the stain is fresh, and not set into the fabric yet.

Otherwise, I don't think it would come out as easily as they show. If it has set I think soaking it for a while would help.

So, have you had any luck with this method for salsa stain removal?

Here is Stain-Removal-101.com suggests to remove salsa stains from fabric.

Basically the method is similar, with the substitution of lemon juice for vinegar, both of which are acidic and can therefore do the same function.

Of course, sometimes lemon juice itself, which has a slight color (whereas white vinegar really doesn't) can stain fabrics. If it does, see these instructions for lemon juice stain removal.
