How To Clean Egg Stains Off Car

Eggs Are For Eating, Not Cars

Eggs Are For Eating, Not Cars

When your car gets egged the most important thing you can do is to get the egg stains off as quickly as possible.

This is not too difficult if you realize the car was egged right away, and the egg yolks and whites are still wet, and haven't dried yet.

If that is the case you can just get out the hose and spray down the car, which by itself may do the trick. You may also need to do just a bit of rubbing to get off all the shell.

However, if the egg has dried, especially on a hot day, it can be very difficult to get that egg off.

Although it is difficult, it is important, because leaving the eggs on your car's finish will eventually harm it.

The video below gives some suggestions for removing egg stains and bird droppings from your car, but mainly mentions doing it as quickly as possible.

In addition to the steps below, in the video, to help remove those egg stains from your vehicle I suggest using some car wash soap, instead of just spraying water.

You could also use this homemade car wash soap recipe to wash your car.

To be able to spray both water and soap at the same time I suggest using a product like this soap dispensing wash gun, which is designed to dispense both the soap and pressured water at the same time.

Finally, just as the video suggests, I also suggest using a microfiber cloth. There are microfiber wash mitts that are designed specifically for washing your car, which can be helpful to own if you wash your car on a frequent basis.
