Janel shared her Twinkle copper cleaner and polish review with me.
Janel says:
I love my copper bottomed pans and display them on a rack in my kitchen.
Because of how they're displayed they need to be clean and sparkling.
I have used Twinkle products before and liked them very much. This one did well, but required a good bit of polishing to ensure that there was no residue left.
Other than that, this polish worked well. You can usually it in large grocery stores, at least in my area.
I would recommend this polish to anyone that has copper items to keep nice and bright.
I also use it on various small knick knacks that I have received from my mother that have been passed down to me, so I feel it's safe for treasures as well.

Thanks Janel for sharing your Twinkle copper cleaner and polish review.
As I noticed from the packaging itself, you can also use this product on brass.
Twinkle Brass & Copper Cleaner Worked On Old Brass Silverware
by Myra
Myra says:
I was at my grandma's recently, and she taught me how clean the brass.
We have some old brass spoons and old forks, which have a small design of flowers on them. It was hard to get off the dirt and tarnish at first from so many years, so we had to polish and re-polish everything.
She used Twinkle brass and copper cleaner for this task.
Not all of it came off, but most of it did.
We used a special rag to clean the product with and another to wipe off all of the residue.
I would use this product again in the future to help my grandmother clean her brass again. I hope we find even more treasures in her attic that we can also clean together.

Thanks for this review Myra.
I would love to hear from more people who've used this metal polish, telling me how it has worked for them, and giving examples of what types of items you've used it on.
I have been using Twinkle since the 60's to polish Zildjian cymbals and have found no product better at polishing them. It had been several months and I had ran out of Twinkle. I purchased some at an Ace Hardware and noticed immediately the container was different. Not "fluted' for strength around the container as they had been. As soon as I started to use it I noticed it wasn't at all like it used to be. It didn't immediately start to clean until more time and pressure finally caused the sponge to turn brown- rather than the "almost" black it had for almost 60 years. This new "version" does not do the job. A friend gave me an "older" (10 months?) container of Twinkle and all went fine. Don't know what I will use in the future.
