Kroger Home Sense Dryer Sheets Review: Free & Delicate Scent

by Taylor

Kroger recently introduced its Home Sense brand, and since it was new I bought a box of the free and delicate dryer sheets, which are both scent and dye free.

I was pleased that I even saw any scent free variety to choose from, since often you only see scented varieties. (Plus, I noted they had scent free detergent, which I bought and click the link to read my review of that, as well as scent free liquid fabric softener -- so in other words, a whole hypoallergenic laundry line. How great is that?)

Overall, I was pleased with these fabric softener sheets.

They didn't leave any scent on the clothes and they helped control the static from the dryer, which since it is winter and dry outside is definitely needed at this time of year.

However, unlike with some sheets, where I find I can use them a couple of times before all the fabric softener is used from them (such as when I tried the Walmart brand) these were definitely a one time use type of product.

I think I could still get by with just using half a sheet though, if I wanted to be even more frugal.

Overall, I liked the sheets because they cost less than name brands, but I still think other store brands may be a better overall value because I just didn't think these had as much fabric softener on each sheet as some of the others.

Has anyone else used any of the Kroger brand Home Sense products? If so, I would love to hear how they've worked for you. You can share your laundry products reviews here, and your cleaning products reviews here.

Besides melting in the dryer, the sheets leave grease stains on clothing. These sheets are lousy!
