Odette has shared her experience with Drano Crystals, and how she used them to remove a grease clog in her kitchen sink.
Odette says:
One Sunday after a fried chicken dinner my youngest son accidentally poured a pan of grease down the drain. After that it became increasingly stopped up no matter what kind of drain cleaner that I used.
I tried liquid after liquid, and foam after foam. I had tried everything and couldn't find a single formula of drain cleaner that would work on my stopped up kitchen sink. I was at my breaking point and very close to calling a plumber.
Then, one day I found the Drano Professional Strength Kitchen Crystals online and ran to the grocery store to get them. I got home and hoped and hoped that they would work on my poor old sink.
Well, my drain was completely clear in just minutes! This stuff works wonders! I definitely recommend this product for any greasy stopped up sink.
It works lightning fast and it is also easier to handle than a liquid. You just pour the crystals down the drain, no liquid mess!

Thanks Odette for sharing your Drano Crystals review.
I think this is a great idea for a product, because kitchen clogs are often very different in nature from bathroom clogs because of the substance which caused the clog in the first place.
Once you sent in this review I did a bit more research on this product, and there was one thing
I really liked about it, at least from the advertising.
What I liked is that one container is supposed to last for many uses. Unlike most drain cleaners that you are supposed to use the entire bottle, or at least half a bottle per clog, and sometimes use repeatedly on the same clog, meaning multiple bottles, this one advertises that it lasts 17 uses right on the container. (I would love to hear from others who have used this to say whether it really lasts that long or not.)
Further, I know people are always concerned what types of pipes it is safe to use on. I looked, and this one is advertised as safe for all types of pipes, septic systems and cesspools.
However, make sure you do NOT use this product if your kitchen sink has a garbage disposal in it. The product makes it very clear that it is not safe to use with a garbage disposal.
Like I said before, I would love to hear from others who have used this product to share how it has worked for you. You can share your drain cleaners review here for this or any other brand or type, sharing how the product worked for you, good or bad. You can also read other reviews of other products that have already been submitted.
I just want to comment that I used Drano Crystals to clear my drains for many years- I just can't seem to find them locally any more. Guess I have to now order them on the internet.
