I love using the Snuggle Ultra fabric softener in the Blue Sparkle scent.


I had tried many different fabric softeners before I decided to stay with this one. First of all, I love how cozy soft it makes my fabrics feel. They are truly a pleasure to touch, and feel wonderful against my skin.



I also love the scent that my clothes have using this scent. It really gives it that fresh clean scent.

Finally, I really enjoy the fact that the scent lasts a long time. I can wash towels or sheets or sweaters and then put them away. Even after I go back to them after a month or so, the items still have a scent close to what they had when I first washed them.

It is really quite nice to have my fabrics smell so refreshing especially when I have guests over. It makes it seem like I just washed everything for them.

I have not noticed any difference in the wear and tear of my fabrics with this softener.

I do also use fabric softener sheets in the dryer though primarily because I want to get rid of the static. The air is quite dry in the winter time here and the dryer sheets help with that.

Snuggle Free Clear Gave A Faint "Rancid" Odor To Clothes

Frances tried the new Snuggle Free Clear liquid fabric softener, but was less than impressed with it.

Frances says:

I purchased a 32oz bottle of the New Snuggle free clear liquid fabric softener and used it according to directions on the label.

After my clothes were dried, as I was folding them I could smell a faint "rancid" odor.

When I put on one of the garments I could still smell this odor.

I went to the laundry room and opened the bottle to see if that was what was causing the odor and sure enough I could smell this same odor.

I will have to go back to using the scented Snuggle or use another brand of softener that has no perfumes and dyes.

I love some of the Snuggle softeners with perfumes, but not all of them, some of them are too strong.

You're the first person to share your opinions about the scent free version of this product. In fact, I was looking for a picture of the liquid version for the review, and could not find one. It does not appear you can buy the liquid version many places (if at all) online, just the non-scented sheets.

Snuggle Liquid Softener Review - The One In The Blue Bottle

Anna says:

I use Snuggle ultra fabric softener because my mother always used the Snuggle dryer sheets in the blue box.

I started out only using the dryer sheets and I felt as though they did not adequately make my clothes feel soft, so that is when I added the liquid version to my routine too.

My mother chose this brand and therefore I chose this brand because I have very sensitive skin and after trying other brands Snuggle did not cause my skin to be scratchy.

I have considered trying some of the hypoallergenic choices that are out there but I fear that even though they should be safe I may still have a reaction. Snuggle has proven itself so I stick with it.

Also, it is reasonably priced. You don't have to use a lot in your washer to achieve a great smell and a great level of softness. This allows the bottle to go further and I feel when you divide the total cost of the product by the number of loads you can do, you get a lot for your money.

I still use dryer sheets when drying my clothes, though, even with the liquid softener, to add an extra layer of softness. I have been told this is unnecessary but I do it anyway.

I too have been influenced, brand wise, by what my mother used when I was a kid. I think that is pretty common.
