Specifically, this video shows how to get rid of the actual unsightly mildew and stains it leaves behind around your shower, and other hard surfaces around your bathroom like tiles.

The video suggests using hot water, the abrasive side of a kitchen sponge, what it calls a "cream cleaner" (such as Soft Scrub), an old toothbrush and elbow grease to get rid of the mildew.

What I think this video is lacking are some suggestions for preventing mildew from forming in your bathroom, and also how to kill (not just physically remove) the mildew that has developed, so it is less likely to come back.
