Preventing Hair Color Stains On Your Skin

When coloring your hair, you want to prevent hair color stains on your skin from occurring, if possible.

The video below gives tips both about preventing hair color stains on your skin, and several possible ways to remove those stains if they do happen anyway.

Of course, it is best to prevent the stains to your skin in the first place.

The best way to do this is to use Vaseline or another heavy lotion or cream and apply it all around your hair line, ears and neck (but not into your actual hair).

What this does is it creates a protective layer over your skin which prevents the hair dye from actually touching your skin and dying it.

Further, the video below gives some ideas for removing these hair color stains from your skin if they get on it.

He suggests hairspray or toothpaste around your hairline, and for your hands baking soda and dishwashing liquid.

Tell me how these tips have worked for you in preventing hair color stains on your skin, or removing them if they get on there in the comments.
