Hanging Clothes Out To Dry

Hanging Clothes Out To Dry

Here is a natural removal stain tip from a reader that I just loved!

Christa says:

While this might not be news to some it certainly was to me.

The sun works as a stain remover. At least that is what I found on my whites.

I'm sure my grandmother told me this at some point...I was interested in other things at the time.

Since I don't usually hang our clothes out to dry I never discovered this until recently. We were trying a new type of diaper for our second child. It was suggested to return the diaper covering to it's original white condition just set it out to dry in the sun.

It worked great!

Thanks Christa for this great natural removal stain tip. I love using natural products for stain removal as much as possible, and what could be more natural than the sun?

If you are interested in more information about the benefits of the sun for cleaning and stain removal check out my article on sunshine stain removal and cleaning your home.

Funny you should mention that you use sunshine to help remove stains from your cloth diapers. Another Mom has also mentioned this. (You can see her tip on using sunshine to remove cloth diaper stains here.)

Since two of you have mentioned this now, I'm pretty convinced this is the right way to deal with cloth diaper stains from now on, whenever possible.

I also love that this is such a natural way to remove stains, there is no chance of stain removal chemicals touching and lingering on your baby's skin.

So, does anyone else have any natural ways or products they use to remove stains? If so, you can share your natural stain remover reviews here.
