Natural Hand Sanitizer Recipe - Alcohol Free Hand Sanitizer Recipe

Below is a video with a natural hand sanitizer recipe, which is also an alcohol free hand sanitizer.

Many people today are looking for a better way to sanitize their hands without alcohol, which easily dries out your skin, especially in the winter when the air is so cold and dry to begin with.
I like this recipe because it is simple -- 2 ingredients -- and it doesn't use harsh chemicals but all natural essential oils.

The recipe for this natural hand sanitizer is quite simple, like I said, because you take a travel size bottle (3 ounces of water) and add a couple of drops of cinnamon essential oil to it. Shake it and then use as needed.

Here is the video for a demonstration.

I have also heard that you can use tea tree essential oil, mixed with water in a similar fashion, for a homemade hand sanitizer which would also be natural. Has anyone done this? Please tell me in the comments.

In addition, I would love to hear your recipes and ideas for how to use essential oils throughout your home. You can share your essential oil uses here, or read other ideas and recipes already submitted.

Tea Tree Oil For Hand Sanitizer
by: Anonymous

Tea tree oil is excellent for fighting germs, etc., and to use in a hand sanitizer except that when mixed (or unmixed) tea tree oil should never be stored in plastic containers and instead use aluminum or stainless steal little bottles for your purse or bag.
