LA's Totally Awesome Plumber Liquid Drain Cleaner Review

Harriet has shared her review of LA's Totally Awesome Plumber liquid drain cleaner.

Harriet says:

One night I had a bad soap clog in my bathroom sink and tried the new concentrated formula of this product to clear it. It was the cheapest option available, and I found it a dollar store.

The big-name brands of drain cleaners were totally unaffordable.

I bought a few bottles so I would have some extra on hand for the next clog and hoped for the best. I always hate having to run out to pick up something when there's a clog in the house. I want to address it right away.

The product is thinner than some of the name-brand products, but did the trick after a few hours.

It has a strong chemical smell, but I'm not exactly expecting a drain cleaner to smell like roses.

When I used it on a less serious clog, another time, it worked in a few minutes. For the bad clog, I used two applications a couple of hours apart, one-half bottle each time. For the mild clog, one-half bottle was sufficient.

Overall I was happy with this product, and it was definitely a good value for the price.

If you aren't familiar with the brand, LA's Totally Awesome, it is a lower cost version of many cleaning products, which are mostly found in dollar stores, such as Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Dollar General, etc.
