Lynette shared this recipe for killing black mold with essential oils in some email correspondence we had about the awesome ways to use essential oils for cleaning your home. She shared this recipe with me, and I got her permission to share it with you too.

Here is a recipe to kill Black Mold:

3 Cups Distilled Water
5 drops of Clove essential oil
5 drops of Cinnamon essential oil
5 drops of Rosemary essential oil
5 drops of Euclalyptus Radiata essential oil
5 drops of Lemon essential oil

Taylor says:

You spray this onto the black mold and Lynette says it will kill it!

I've not personally used this recipe myself, but several of these essential oils have properties that make me think it least has a chance of working. I would love to hear from someone if they try this recipe, sharing your results with me.
