Knowing how to remove syrup from carpet can be important information when that syrup accidentally spills while serving your family pancakes for breakfast.

Syrup can be difficult to remove because it is so sticky.

Below is a video giving some tips for syrup stain removal from carpet.

The video suggests to first blot and remove the majority of the syrup with paper towels, and then to make one of two stain removal solutions.

The first would be a solution of ammonia and water, and the other would be a solution of dishwashing liquid and water.

Use either of these solutions to remove the stain, and then spray water over the area to remove as much solution as possible.

Finally, place a heavy object over a stack of paper towels, where you got the carpet wet to clean it, to help absorb all the moisture from the carpet, backing and carpet pad, to completely dry your now stain free carpet.
