For the wine stains, the video recommends a detergent solution of 1 teaspoon of dishwashing soap and 1 cup warm water, hydrogen peroxide, or laundry pretreaters.

For candle wax removal from carpet the video recommends Goo Gone.

For greasy spills the video recommends Fels Naptha Laundry Bar Soap, and Afta Dry Cleaning Fluid (which is now known as Guardsman, and is the dry cleaning solvent I also recommend), and detergent solution.
