Grass Removal Stain Tip - Use Enzymes To Treat The Stain

The video below gives a grass removal stain tip of using enzymes to treat grass stains on your washable clothing.

Enzymes are a type of molecule that breaks down protein and other organic molecules, so they are perfect for helping to remove grass stains.

Grass stains are not themselves protein stains.

The green color comes from chlorophyll.

However, you don't generally just smear grass blades on yourself, but instead also get mud or dirt, and other protein stains on your clothing along with the grass.

The video suggests getting digestive enzyme tablets from a health food store and then breaking apart the tablets to get at the enzyme powder inside each one.

I have a better idea -- get some digestive enzyme powder, which they generally sell for cats and dogs in powder instead of pill form, and just use that so you can save yourself a troublesome step.

Then, mix the powdered enzymes with a little bit of water to make a paste and spread this on your grass stain.

Let it sit for approximately an hour, and then launder as normal. Your grass stain should be history.

The video suggested using tablets of enzymes from the health food store, but you can use enzymes for your pet's digestion which are basically the same stuff, but you don't have to break up the tablets but can instead just scoop up the enzyme powder.
