Stained Coffee Mug

If you love a daily cup of tea or coffee you have probably also experienced a coffee or tea ring in your favorite mug that just wouldn't come out with normal dish washing.

Those rings of coffee or tea stains can build up over time leaving your mugs looking dingy and dirty.

There are many natural ways to get rid of these stains, and the video below gives you some ideas.

You want, if at all possible, to use natural products to remove these rings from your mug because you use that mug to drink coffee or tea, so you don't want to be drinking chemical residue at the same time.

Some of the suggested products the video has for removing those nasty coffee and tea ring stains include:
Here at Stain-Removal-101.com I believe the best two of these suggested products is salt and baking soda.

Either salt or baking soda can be made into a slightly abrasive paste by adding a small amount of water, and then rubbing the paste onto the stains either with a rag, or a toothbrush if your hands can't fit inside the mug well.

The gentle abrasive action will help remove those rings without adding any chemical residues that might be harmful if consumed later with your next cup of coffee or tea.

Below is the video, which demonstrates how to use some of these products to remove these tea and coffee ring stains.

Please tell me in the comments if any of these methods worked for you, or what else you do to remove those rings from your tea or coffee mugs.
