Earth Rescue Dishwasher Rinse Aid Review

by Taylor

I am about half way through my bottle of Earth Rescue dishwasher rinse aid, which is a product I found at Walmart.

I have been unable to tell for certain, but it appears that this brand, Earth Rescue, may be Walmart's house brand of eco-friendly cleaning products (or perhaps manufactured by another company but carried exclusively at this retail giant).

At least currently I've only found it available in these stores, and not anywhere online.

This rinse aid is phosphate free, naturally derived and biodegradable. It is also fragrance, dye and VOC free.

Overall, I'd say this does a fair job. The dishes are still looking nice, but I've attributed this to my use of Lemishine dishwasher detergent additive pacs which have been taking care of my hard water buildup problem. The Earth Rescue rinse aid doesn't seem to be making much of a difference, good or bad.

Therefore, I haven't been as impressed with this product as the Great Value rinse aid, which is the non-green version from Walmart for example, which I currently like the best because of its low cost and the good results it makes.

If you're looking for an eco-friendly rinse agent, another possibility to try is Seventh Generation version which is also scent free, and which another reader really liked.

Overall, I think I will continue to search for a more natural version of this type of product, because I just don't think this one is it for me.

There are quite a few varieties of products from this brand, all of which I've seen at Walmart. This includes dishwasher pacs, all purpose cleaner, and laundry supplies, for example.

This is the first thing I've tried from Earth Rescue, so I can't speak to the quality of any of these other products, but I would love to hear your reviews and experiences with any of them. You can share your green cleaning products reviews here or read lots of other experiences already submitted.

Further, I've got lots of rinse aid reviews here of many different brands, so click the link to check them out or share your own.
