We welcomed a beautiful baby last January and she has been a joyful but big handful because she is allergic to a lot of things, detergent being one.


Our doctor mentioned Dreft to us and we tried it. Since then, well let me tell you, it has worked wonderfully not just for my daughter but for the whole family since we have to use the same detergent due to her laundry detergent allergy.

Dreft laundry detergent is excellent on our clothes. It cleans both colors and whites well, and leaves them softer than our previous detergent, Tide.


I would say the only down fall for Dreft is the price, because it costs a little bit more than others, but in the end it is worth it.

We are very happy with Dreft and will recommend it to anyone, whether they have allergies or not. It's a good detergent to have overall.

I would not switch anymore to any other detergent except Dreft laundry detergent. The smell of it is not strong either, making it pleasant to wash with, along with being less stressful to use because we are no longer afraid our baby will break out.

HE Dreft Liquid Detergent Review - Gets Out Baby Food Stains

When my son was born, the first detergent I decided to use was Dreft in liquid form for HE machines.

I had heard all of the hype surrounding the detergent from fellow parents and my own, and I found every claim to be true! Not only does it get rid of stains from baby food but my child's clothes come out soft and the light clean scent assures me that it won't irritate his skin.

My son has certain allergies and we never know what to expect when using new things or even letting him experience new food. But Dreft is definitely our detergent of choice because it is mild and does not leave behind any traces of a stain.

Dreft is a detergent that you can count on to handle cleaning laundry with out leaving anything behind or irritating the sensitive skin of a newborn.

I feel confident in using it and as a parent who worries about their child's well being, I highly recommend it to any parent with a new bundle of joy.

Dreft Baby Detergent Review - Expensive, But Worth It For My Newborn

I bought this laundry detergent for my newborn because it has been trusted by my sister for years for her babies.

She recommended it to me to use with my newborn because it worked for her children's sensitive skin.

I bought my bottle at Walmart for about $18 for the 100 FL OZ bottle. It is the largest bottle they sold which does 64 small loads. I used the liquid detergent for regular washers, not the HE.

The cost was quite a bit higher compared to other baby laundry detergent from other brands. However, on the front of the bottle it says "#1 choice of pediatricians" which made me feel more comfortable buying Dreft baby detergent for my newborn.

It smells like fresh baby powder.

After washing, drying and sitting in the dresser for a few days I could still smell this scent on the clothes. I was surprised because it was just from washing them with this detergent and nothing else.

I looked at a couple stores for Dreft dryer sheets but could not find them so I just bought scent free sensitive skin ones.

I like that you can smell this fresh scent days later but it is not too strong.

This detergent works great for getting out odors and even washed stains out of her clothes.

It is also great for babies with sensitive skin because of the gentle formula.

I love that it is not watered down soap like most brands. I highly recommend Dreft baby detergent for children especially newborns.

I did a little research for you and I do not believe Dreft currently makes dryer sheets which is why you couldn't find them. Perhaps they should though.
