Below is a video with coffee stain carpet tips from a professional carpet cleaner.
This guy is VERY meticulous, and he shows you exactly how to blot the carpet, and how to fix the carpet fibers to dry correctly, in an upright position, after blotting, all in great detail.
I know the video is 5 1/2 minutes long, but I think it is helpful for showing these techniques quite well.
In addition, after you fix the carpet fibers he shows you how to continue drying the carpet, to get rid of as much moisture as possible.
It is pretty simple, actually - just place a white towel over the damp area and place a heavy book or weight on the carpet for 12-24 hours, and this will help get the carpet (and backing and pad) as dry as possible.
Tell me in the comments if this video's tips helped you with your coffee stain in your carpet.
