Although canvas is a fabric, since it is made into many things that can't just be thrown into the washing machine, sometimes it is difficult to figure out how to clean it.
In addition, canvas, when it gets wet, is quite suceptible to mold and mildew buildup if it does not have the right protective coatings on it to help repel water and moisture.
So, do you have any tips for cleaning canvas, or for canvas stain removal to share?
If so, share them with us below being sure to say what type of canvas item you cleaned.

You can submit a canvas cleaner review here if a commercial product has worked well (or not so well) for you in cleaning and removing stains from your canvas items.
When your canvas tent, awnings, or other canvas items get dirty or stains, how do you successfully clean and remove stains from the canvas?
Feel free to explain your canvas stain removal and cleaning method, and any laundry supplies, stain removers or canvas cleaners that work for you.
In addition, please tell us what hasn't worked for you, so we can all avoid pitfalls in the cleaning and stain removal process.
