Bissell Carpet Shampoo Review - Multi-Allergen Formula

Martha has shared her Bissell Carpet Shampoo review, for the multi-allergen formula.

I have been using this product for about 2 years now.

After quite a bit of trial and error, this cleaner is the one that I count on to keep both my upholstery and carpets clean and fresh.

It has deep cleaning action, and absolutely does not leave any residue on my carpets or upholstery. When it dries, it does not leave any odors trapped in my carpets. It is extremely effective, and does a great job on spots as well as general carpet areas.

It is formulated to remove allergens caused by dust mites, pets, and pollen. I think that it does a good job of getting this done.

I just love it for my upholstery. It cleans and freshens my patio cushions when getting ready for Spring, and I use it on my sofas and chairs inside my home.

Finally, I have been known to mix the formula with some water and spray it on throw pillows to spot clean them too. Just use a damp sponge or towel to treat the area.

I note that this formula is created to use in a carpet cleaning machine, and actually is safe for use not only in Bissell carpet cleaners, but also for Hoover, Dirt Devil and Rug Doctor machines too.

The multi-allergen formula is designed for use in full size carpet cleaning machines, but there are also some formulas available for compact sized machines, and it says that you should purchase the right one for the size machine you are using.

Finally, I just want to note that although you are free to use this product on your upholstery, and I'm glad it works for you, it is not specifically designed for upholstery, but instead for carpeting. Therefore, just be careful whenever you use a product in a way it is not designed.
